  • Email us within 60 days of placing your order. We will then help schedule a FedEx pickup of your boxes
  • You’ll need to securely pack the Murphy bed in the original packaging. Don’t throw the boxes away until you’re sure the Murphy bed is right for you
  • The Murphy bed will need to be in the same condition in which you received it. For example, we can't take back a Paint-Ready Murphy bed that you've painted or stained. Make sure the Murphy bed is right for you before making any modifications to it
  • We will refund you the full purchase price of your Murphy bed, less the cost of the return shipping labels (which is $150)

Our Murphy beds and other products are usually in-stock and ready to ship the next business day. Everything arrives at your doorstep, typically in 3 to 7 days.

Any pre-order or backordered products will show the expected shipping date before you place your order.

Do I want Vertical or Horizontal? 

We offer the Lori Bed in both Vertical and Horizontal orientations, depending on your preferences and space constraints.

Vertical beds are the traditional orientation, and guests can get in and out from either side.

Horizontal beds are a good choice if your ceiling height is lower, or if you don’t want the bed to stick out as far into the room when it’s open.

Can I assemble the Lori Bed myself? 

Yes, you don’t need a professional to assemble or install a Lori Bed. Each step is simple and is clearly shown in our assembly instructions and step-by-step videos. The process takes a few hours, and it helps to have a second set of hands here and there, but you don’t need any special skills or tools.

What kind of mattress do I need? 

The Lori Bed works with any mattress up to 10 inches thick. We calibrated the lifting mechanism of the Lori Bed to match the weight of The Lori Mattress, which weighs about 50lbs for a Twin and 80lbs for a Queen. Your bed will work best if you choose the Lori Mattress, or one of similar weight.

How does the Lori Bed attach to the wall? 

The Lori Bed must be anchored to the wall for safety, but we designed the process to be as simple as possible. Just anchor the rear mounting plate into three studs with two screws each. We supply screws for wood and metal studs. There is no need to screw into the floor or remove your baseboards, like many of our competitors.

If you have masonry or concrete walls, you’ll need to supply the proper anchors for your application. The Lori Bed cannot be mounted to drywall only.

    The Perfect Space-Saving Solution: My Experience with the Lori Bed and Mattress

    I had the pleasure of being selected as a product tester for Lori Beds, giving me the opportunity to try out both the Horizontal Queen Lori Bed and Lori Mattress. After several weeks of use, I can confidently say that this Murphy bed has been a fantastic upgrade to our space, far exceeding all my expectations.

    First and foremost, the Lori Bed is remarkably easy to lift and lower. All the components feel solid and well-constructed, and the automatic fold-out legs are a brilliant feature that works flawlessly.
