Lori Storage should be anchored either to the wall or to the side of a Murphy bed that is anchored to the wall for safety. We supply screws for anchoring to the side of your Murphy bed, along with screws for mounting in wood or metal studs. All Murphy beds must be anchored directly to the wall for safety.

About the Short Side Cabinet
The Lori Short Side Cabinet is a premium modular storage solution designed to pair perfectly with your Lori Bed. Each cabinet is made from real wood and finished to match your bed, giving you the look of a custom built-in without the wait or cost. Choose from open shelves, smooth-close drawers, or reversible-door cabinets – or mix and match them to fit your space. Every piece is fully modular, so you can add doors or drawers later, and you can order more units over time as your storage needs grow. Like all Lori products, our storage products ship quickly, assemble easily, and are backed by our lifetime warranty.
Compatibility
The Short Side Cabinet is the height of a Horizontal Twin Lori Bed without any added overhead storage. If you want a cabinet the height of a Horizontal Twin bed plus an Overhead Cabinet on top, choose the Tall Side Cabinet or Tall Nightstand Cabinet. This cabinet does not match the Original YouLift or any non-mechanized beds purchased before 2026.

Our guest room/office has been completely transformed with the addition of our Lori Bed, Lori Bed Mattress, and side cabinet upgrades. The quality of the cabinetry—solid wood panels with beautiful veneer in addition to the ease of use of the “Murphy Bed” mechanism really makes the Lori Bed a great choice for “empty-nesters” or realistically anyone considering maximizing their living space.
The packaging of each item was of high quality, and the customer service was prompt and efficient! A big thank you goes to Leana, who took care of my email request right away. She corrected the mistake I made when placing the order for the side cabinet.
